About Goals

Add to My Yahoo!

This quote by Thoreau really sums up the process of achievement.

"We must walk consciously only part way toward our goal and then leap in the dark to our success." – Henry David Thoreau

My interpretation of the 'leap in the dark' would be allowing (and trusting or expecting) the unconscious part of us, to find the path to the goal. Some would call this 'faith'.

Why Atrocities Happen

Add to My Yahoo!

Atrocity has no excuses, no mitigating argument. Atrocity never balances or rectifies the past. Atrocity merely arms the future for more atrocity. It is self-perpetuating upon itself—a barbarous form of incest. Whoever commits atrocity also commits those future atrocities thus bred.
